Ann Robertson played for West Coast, Auckland A and B teams, and then the Tall Ferns. As a coach she won eight National Championships. She was Tall Ferns coach in 1988 and 1989 touring the team to Malaysia, the USA and Australia. Robertson has also been an Auckland Women Basketball Executive Committee member for more than 20 years, and she is an elected board member of the New Zealand Basketball Federation (now Basketball New Zealand).
