Road to the 2019 FIBA World Cup

New Zealand is now part of the FIBA Asia Zone. To qualify for the FIBA World Cup, the team needs to finish within the top seven countries in Asia. For the first qualifying window, the Tall Blacks topped Pool A over China, Hong Kong and Korea. They are now in Round Two vs Lebanon, Syria and Jordan.
