At a Glance | March Madness #11

Similar to yesterday, there is just one game to report today as March Madness continues.

Coming off a season best 14 points last week, Anzac Rissetto was included in fifth ranked University of North Carolina Charlotte’s starting five for their Conference USA second round encounter with University of Texas San Antonio.

New Zealand’s leading rebounder at the 2018 FIBA U17 World Championship claimed two offensive boards as Charlotte forged an early 9-8 lead.

Unfortunately, Texas San Antonio, seeded fourth, grabbed control soon after and went on to win 72-62.

Anzac, in his fifth start of the season for the 49ers, finished with 7 points, six rebounds and a steal in the loss.

Below is a quick look at what lies ahead for the remainder of the week.

Tomorrow

Akienne-Tera Reed (Virginia Commonwealth University) will carry fifth seeding into the Atlantic 10 Tournament.

James Moors (Colorado State University) tagged #3 at the Mountain West Tournament.

Saturday

Kendell Heremaia (Fordham University) seeded #2 in the Atlantic 10 Tournament.
