iAthletic and BBNZ launch new merch store!

iAthletic Launches New Merchandise Store for Tall Blacks and 2degrees Tall Ferns Fans.

Australian uniform and apparel powerhouse iAthletic has partnered with Basketball New Zealand for a new three-year partnership. As part of this collaboration, iAthletic has established a dedicated online store for Basketball NZ providing fans of the Tall Blacks and 2degrees Tall Ferns with unprecedented access to supporter merchandise and apparel.

To support this partnership, iAthletic has opened a new warehouse in Mount Wellington, Auckland, reinforcing its commitment to Basketball New Zealand, and the New Zealand market.

iAthletic will also evolve the on-court performance wear for the 2degrees Tall Ferns and Tall Blacks, with proven expertise in men’s and women’s uniforms and apparel established by their longstanding agreements with Basketball Australia and the WNBL in Australia.

Basketball New Zealand’s success both on and off the court has been exceptional, fostering grassroots participation while achieving some great results on the global stage. iAthletic is honoured to be partnering with such a dynamic and leading organisation, dedicated to growing the game and uniting fans and communities.

‘We are incredibly excited to be partnering with iAthletic, who are such an established and experienced apparel provider in both high-performance athlete wear, and supporter merchandise. What this means for our high-performance athletes is kitting them out in top quality gear both on and off the court. On top of this, part of our strategy is to ensure we are providing world class experiences for our fans, and having continued access to buy both Tall Blacks and 2degrees Tall Ferns merchandise is a huge step forward for us in this space’ says Dillon Boucher, CEO of Basketball New Zealand.

David Biwer, CEO of iAthletic, shared his excitement: “This partnership is a proud moment for us. Basketball New Zealand embodies the spirit of the game, excelling in international competition while building an incredible basketball community. We’re thrilled to bring our expertise to such a thriving organisation and look forward to supporting their continued success.”

iAthletic already partners with major organisations in Australia, including Basketball Australia and the WNBL, and supplies over 100 associations nationwide. The expansion into New Zealand solidifies iAthletic’s position as a leader in premium sports apparel.

“This collaboration highlights our commitment to quality, innovation, and supporting athletes at all levels. We’re eager to help New Zealand’s basketball community reach new heights,” Biwer added.
