A member of the victorious team that defeated Australia in Brisbane in February 2020.

Played three games in the FIBA World Cup Asia Qualifiers and went on to play at the 2019 FIBA World Cup in China playing all five games.

Was a member of the bronze medal winning team at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.

Was a member of the team that finished fourth at the FIBA Asia Cup in Lebanon in 2017.

After a year at Lincoln Trail Junior College, Illinois, Rusbatch joined the Southland Sharks in 2012. He then went on to play a season with Taranaki Mountain Airs in 2013. From 2014-2017 Rusbatch played for the Canterbury Rams averaging 12.9 points per game in 72 appearances.

Has played the last two seasons for the Hawkes Bay Hawks and won NBL Most Improved Player Award in 2019 after averaging 20.3 points per game – his three-point shooting percentage was an impressive 43.2%.
