Averaged 7.2 points and 3.8 rebounds across in the FIBA World Cup Asia Qualifiers. Scored 12 points against Turkey at the 2019 FIBA World Cup in China.
Was a member of the bronze medal winning team at the 2018 Commonwealth Games averaging 8.4ppg and 5.8rpg.
After graduating from Nelson College Delany had a short stint at Southwest Baptist University, Missouri. It was in 2013 that Delany began to make his mark in senior basketball debuting for Nelson Giants in the New Zealand National Basketball League as a 17 year old whilst still in his last year at Nelson College and has since made 80 appearances for the club.
Averaged 18.0 points and 6.1 rebounds per game for the Giants in the 2017 NBL season.
Played for the Dallas Mavericks in the 2019 NBA Summer League after a short stint in Serbia playing for FMP Beograd.
Has played four seasons with the NZ Breakers since debuting in 2015.
