Basketball New Zealand (BBNZ) is pleased to announce that New Zealand-based provider Pure Athletic, has come on board this year as the official Domestic Apparel and Merchandise Supplier for the organisation.
Pule Athletic are an Auckland-based customised sportswear uniform specialist. They have previously created off-court basketball apparel for the NZ Breakers, Ngati Toa basketball and several basketball Associations in New Zealand, and recently collaborated with BBNZ on a limited-edition set of Tall Blacks off-court apparel.
This partnership will see Pure Athletic creating and delivering apparel across a range of domestic and national age group competitions, servicing all of the athletes, officials and staff involved. At a domestic level this includes competitions such as the Under 15 / Under 17 / Under 19 National Championships, Secondary School Nationals and various 3X3 competitions.
At the National Age Group level, Pure Athlete apparel will feature in men’s and women’s campaigns from Under 16’s up to Junior Tall Ferns and Junior Tall Blacks level, as well as in the age group 3×3 national team setting.

BBNZ GM Commercial, Dave Everitt says that the partnership with Pure Athletic aligns with the organisation’s strategic focus as basketball participation continues to skyrocket in Aotearoa.
