Basketball New Zealand Annual General Meeting

The BBNZ Annual General Meeting (AGM) for 2025 is being held on Sunday 11 May at the Claudelands Event Centre, Hamilton.

Associations, Life Members and Affiliate Members are invited to attend this meeting and are asked to register their attendance using the form below.

Date:      Sunday 11 May 2025

Venue:   Claudelands Event Centre, Hamilton 

Time:     9:30am – 1:00pm Basketball New Zealand Annual General Meeting 

               1:00pm – 1:45pm Mix and mingle, lunch will be provided 

                An online link will be available for those who wish to observe the AGM virtually.  

The New Zealand Basketball Foundation AGM will be held prior to the BBNZ AGM on Sunday 11 May 2025 9am – 9:30am

About the BBNZ AGM

  • Registrations: To register your attendance please complete the following form by 5pm, Friday 2 May 2025

  • Proxy Forms: To appoint a delegate please complete the following proxy form.  All proxy forms must be submitted not less than 3 days before the date of the General Meeting (by 5pm, Tuesday 6 May 2025) – Proxy Form
  • Nominations for Elected and Appointed positions on the BBNZ Board: Basketball New Zealand is seeking to fill three vacancies on its Board of Directors, one appointed position and two elected positions.  All applications must be submitted via the following link. Applications close 4pm, Friday 15th March 2024.
  • Other Notified Business: To request any other business or to propose a motion at least 30 days notice is required.  Email bbnzboard@nz.basketball by 5pm, Monday 31 March 2025
  • Obituaries: To acknowledge individuals from our basketball community who have passed away in the previous 12 months, please complete the following form – Basketball New Zealand Annual General Meeting Obituaries
  • BBNZ Awards: Please note the decision has been made not to hold the awards at the same time. Rest assured we will still celebrate and acknowledge our amazing basketball whānau and their achievements just in a different format. Further details will be provided in due course.
