Aon U17 Nationals to Tip Off on Wednesday in Hamilton

400+ players over 38 teams are set to take the court from Wednesday over three different venues in Hamilton for the Aon U17 Nationals 2022.

The Aon U17 Nationals brings together some of New Zealand’s top junior basketball talent over four exciting days, with players representing their region and contending for the men’s and women’s championship titles. The Boys’ tournament is broken down into 20 teams spread across four pools, while the Girls’ tournament features 18 teams divided into four pools.

Over four days, we will see games in three different venues across Hamilton, The Peak, Hamilton Boys’ High School, and St John’s College.

The tournament will have selected games on Day 3 and Day 4 streaming LIVE at https://nz.basketball/tv and in a first for Basketball New Zealand’s age group competitions, the Grand Finals will be broadcast on free to air TV on Whakaata Māori (Channel 5 Freeview, Channel 15 Sky).
