Basketball New Zealand and Basketball Manawatu are hosting a one-day introduction course to coaching and refereeing in Palmerston North on September 29 (last Saturday of the month).
Those in attendance will get an overview of what is required and how to coach at the community level, while also learning the styles of play used by the national senior and junior teams. Rules and mechanics on how to referee basketball will also be on offer to those interested in that side of the game.
Entry to the course is free and it will be held at Central Energy Trust Arena. To register for the course, please email Jaye Lincoln at admin@manawatu.basketball.
