Auckland-North will serve as the sixth and final stop on the Youthtown 3×3 Quest Tour on Saturday.
Play will tip-off at 10am at Eventfinda Stadium on Auckland’s North Shore and run through to approximately 3pm. Players are asked to arrive at the venue by 9:15am. As always, entry is free for all categories (Open, U19, U17 and U15) and entries close at midday on Friday.
EnviroNZ Franklin Bulls big man Anzac Rissetto will hit the court this weekend and is excited to play 3×3 basketball.
“I think 3×3 is fun as. It’s fast paced and has lots of dunks and threes. I consider 3×3 the hooper version of basketball because you can just go out and have some fun and try new things without the in-depth strategy.”
What’s the key to winning 3×3 basketball? Rissetto says it’s all about fitness.
“I think the key is to never stop moving. The fittest team is going to win.”
The 3×3 Quest Tour Final will take place at Eventfinda Stadium on March 12.
